Global Fragrance Summit postponed

Due to continued global concerns regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, IFRA is postponing the Global Fragrance Summit that was planned for 1-2 April 2020.

The IFRA Board took the decision based on the impact in Asia and globally of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The decision has not been taken lightly, but has become unavoidable in light of World Health Organization advice; the health alert status in Singapore and number of recent cases in the country; and the advice and travel policies of our members.

It is our duty to protect the health and well-being of all participants. At a time when relatively little is known about the potential spread and evolution of COVID-19, it is prudent to be cautious.

We currently plan to hold the Summit later in 2020 in Singapore. Further information will follow soon.

About the Global Fragrance Summit

The Global Fragrance Summit is IFRA's annual meeting dedicated to discussing the political, economic, scientific and regulatory trends affecting our industry.

The 2020 event will follow IFRA’s two previous annual meetings in Barcelona and Paris.

The event showcases the value our industry adds throughout the fragrance value chain and the wider economy and society.

At the Global Fragrance Summit, a public, ‘big-picture’ Open Forum is the centrepiece of the event, alongside a regulatory-focused Knowledge Exchange.

The Global Fragrance Summit brings together IFRA members and upstream and downstream stakeholders, providing an opportunity to discuss, exchange ideas and network and enjoy the positive emotions we all derive from scent.
