Omnibus VII

Omnibus VII (Regulation (EU) 2025877) published on 13 May 2025: This regulation updates the list of prohibited CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction) to align with new classifications under the CLP regulation (ATP 21). Representing IFRA, Dr. Caroline Li participated in a recent meeting of the RAIN Asia Working Group, a platform bringing together leading international chemical industry associations, including the American chemistry Council (ACC), chemical industry association of Canada, CEFIC, SCIC ( Singapore chemical industry Council), among others, to discuss regulatory developments across Asia.The meeting focused on recent developments in chemical regulations and the associated challenges facing the industry and global value chains.
