使用量调查有助于实现对行业运营和未来发展至关重要的几个关键目标：
- 创建 IFRA 透明名单：IFRA 透明度列表概述了全球消费品公司在个人护理产品、家庭护理产品和高级香水中用于制造香味混合物的成分。它是全球香料公司在制造香料混合物时使用的所有成分的 "快照"。
- 为 RIFM 安全评估过程提供信息：香料研究所 (RIFM) 对观察到的正在使用的有异味材料进行严格的安全评估。
- 支持环境风险评估：收集到的数据有助于评估香料成分对环境的影响，为实现行业的环境管理目标做出贡献。
- 应对监管挑战：对成分使用量的全面了解使 IFRA 能够有效应对监管发展，并代表全球香料行业进行宣传。
该调查于 2024 年 3 月 27 日启动，计划持续到 9 月底，旨在收集 2023 日历年的原料使用量数据，强调 IFRA 在安全和法规遵从方面的积极立场。参与调查非常重要，因为这有助于建立一个详细的数据库，为香料行业确保安全使用香料提供支持。
