Geneva, 12 December 2025 – The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) has opened the public consultation on the latest update to its safe use program, the IFRA Standards – the fragrance industry’s risk-based product stewardship system. The consultation, focused on the 52^nd Amendment to the IFRA Standards, is now underway and will remain open until 12 June 2026.

The truth is simple: fragrance safety is not left to chance. It is built into the rules, the testing, the assessments and the people whose job it is to make sure fragranced products are safe to use every day.

This year marks the 20^th anniversary of the European Partnership for Alternative Approaches to Animal Testing (EPAA). Its Annual Conference this year was a significant milestone in promoting innovative, humane, and scientifically robust alternatives to animal testing for regulatory science. Singapore, 15 October 2025 – The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) opened the Global Fragrance Summit 2025 in Singapore today. The two-day meeting brings regulators, scientists and industry leaders together under the theme Scent connections – advancing standards and collaboration across cultures. The program on day one focused on global standards, ingredient defense, regulatory alignment and a specific look at the Asia-Pacific context.

In just one week, fragrance leaders, scientists, and regulators from across the world will convene in Singapore for the IFRA Global Fragrance Summit 2025, taking place on 15 – 16 October at the Fairmont Singapore.

IFRA science experts shared the latest science on human health, environment, and safety assessment

This work, conducted under the auspices of IDEA (The International Dialogue for the Evaluation of Allergens), presents an expanded Reference Chemical Potency List (RCPL) with 77 additional chemicals.
