Earlier this month, we published the IFRA Annual Report 2025, reflecting a year of global engagement, regulatory progress and strengthened collaboration across our membership and with stakeholders worldwide. The report highlights how our collective efforts continue to reinforce the credibility of the IFRA Standards, deepen dialogue with policymakers and position our industry as a responsible and science-driven partner in a rapidly evolving environment.

In Brussels, we convened the 7th IDEA Review Meeting, bringing together regulators, dermatologists, NGOs and industry representatives to advance non-animal approaches in fragrance safety assessment. IDEA remains a cornerstone of our scientific work. It demonstrates how open collaboration and rigorous methodology can drive innovation while maintaining the highest level of consumer protection.

I would also like to remind you that the consultation on the 52nd Amendment to the IFRA Standards remains ongoing. Your engagement is essential. The strength of our self-regulatory system depends on active participation, robust scientific input and shared ownership across the membership. I encourage all members to review the proposals carefully and contribute within the consultation timeline.
