IFRA Joins EU’s Critical Chemicals Alliance

IFRA has joined the European Commission’s Critical Chemicals Alliance to support a coordinated approach to safeguarding essential chemicals.

The Alliance brings together industry, policymakers, and other stakeholders to strengthen the resilience of Europe’s chemicals supply chains, identify critical substances, and support safe, sustainable, and competitive production in the EU. IFRA President Alexander Mohr will participate in the Alliance’s first General Assembly on 13 January in the Netherlands (Chemelot, Geleen), with the participation of Stéphane Séjourné, Executive Vice-President of the European Commissionrepresenting the fragrance industry and highlighting the key challenges currently facing the sector.
