The ongoing programme has been further enriched by the participation of two distinguished international faculty experts, Michael Zviely and Alain Garossi, who have contributed significantly to its academic and professional depth.
Special module by flavour and fragrance industry expert Michael Zviely
This specially curated module focused on the scientific foundations of the fragrance industry. Michael Zviely covered a wide range of topics, including the chemistry of aroma molecules, structure–odour relationships, emerging trends in the fragrance sector, and the role of artificial intelligence and digital tools in understanding fragrance ingredients.
The module was very well attended and widely appreciated by participants of the Sustainable Perfumery Course for its depth and relevance.
Special module by master perfumer Alain Garossi
Commencing on February 16, 2026, this module was designed to provide in-depth practical exposure to perfumery. It includes extensive smelling sessions, advanced techniques in perfume formulation, fragrance applications, and regulatory compliance exercises.
The module has been keenly attended and highly valued by participants for its hands-on and industry-oriented approach.
Capsule for industry professionals
Another core mission of this educational initiative has been to enhance the professional knowledge and operational competence of individuals already working in the fragrance industry. The smelling sessions conducted by Alain Garossi during Batch One received widespread appreciation and industry recognition.
Building on this success, a one-week capsule course has been introduced specifically for industry professionals. This addition is expected to generate supplementary revenue and contribute to making the programme self-sustaining in the long term. Professionals from the fragrance industry have enrolled in this specialised capsule on perfumery, further strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
