IFRA President delivers keynote at CAFFCI Annual Meeting and Expo in Nanjing

Alexander Mohr addressed the high-level fragrance and flavor forum on the global trends reshaping the industry and the growing weight of the Asia Pacific market.

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) took part in the Annual Meeting and Expo of the China Association of Fragrance, Flavor and Cosmetic Industry (CAFFCI) in Nanjing, China, on 17 September 2026.

Speaking at the High-Level Fragrance and Flavor Forum, IFRA President Alexander Mohr delivered a keynote address on the forces shaping the fragrance industry worldwide. Mr Mohr set out:

  • the key global trends and structural shifts driving the industry
  • the emerging regulatory and market challenges facing companies, and the regional opportunities that accompany them
  • the importance of the IFRA Standards
  • the pivotal role of the fast-developing Asia Pacific market
  • the value of cross-border collaboration and a strong global network

The Annual Meeting and Expo also gave IFRA the opportunity to meet members and industry partners from across the region in person. IFRA thanks CAFFCI for hosting the gathering.
