As an international association representing the global fragrance industry, IFRA closely follows regulatory and industrial policy developments across major regions. Policy decisions taken in the EU have implications that extend well beyond Europe.

For IFRA, the key interest lies in ensuring that regulatory and industrial frameworks, both in in Europe and globally, to support innovation, sustainability, investment and supply chain resilience. A competitive and predictable environment in one major region contributes to the stability of global value chains.

Europe remains an important centre for fragrance excellence. At the same time, the fragrance industry is deeply international, with interconnected markets, production sites and consumers across all regions.

IFRA will continue to monitor policy developments in Europe and other key jurisdictions, engaging constructively to support conditions that enable our industry to innovate and grow worldwide.
