Alexander Mohr, President of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), recently visited Hindu College in Delhi to meet the faculty and students of the ongoing perfumery education program — a pioneering initiative supported by IFRA and a coalition of knowledge partners.

Hosted by Dr Anju Srivastava, Principal of Hindu College, the visit included presentations from students on their experience of the program and its impact on their professional development. Alexander recognised the faculty’s contribution and encouraged students to continue building expertise in this dynamic and evolving field.

The visit also included a meeting with members of the IFRA India Task Force, where Alexander shared highlights from the 2025 IFRA-IOFI Sustainability Report and reaffirmed IFRA’s commitment to advancing sustainable fragrance practices.

As part of the same visit, Alexander participated in the 4th FICCI Fragrance Business Summit, addressing over 200 stakeholders on the role of IFRA as the global association for the fragrance industry.

He also visited a product showcase by jasmine and vetiver farmers supported through IFRA’s local sustainability outreach, learning about their work and the value of responsible sourcing.
