IDEA work presented at meeting of the European Society of Contact Dermatitis

Project IDEA has, over the years of its existence, continuously delivered important contributions to the risk assessment and management of fragrance skin sensitizers.

From the very beginning, the dermatological community has been a key stakeholder in the project.

The most recent achievement in this area concerns the use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) to derive a No Expected Sensitization Induction Level (NESIL) for the Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) methodology.

This work was presented by Dr Andreas Natsch of Givaudan, who has been one of the most highly engaged industry representatives in Project IDEA.
