On June 10, the European Commission, Parliament, and Council reached a final agreement in the concluding trilogue session of the Detergents Regulation revision, ending a two-year legislative process. IFRA, in close collaboration with A.I.S.E., has been actively advocating for a proportionate and workable regulatory framework - particularly on biodegradability requirements.

IDEA Publishes Study Supporting NAM Based QRA for Skin Sensitisation
A new studyin Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology confirms that three quantitative New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) – Regression model, SARA‑ICE, and GARDSkin – can generate reliable points of departure for skin‑sensitisation quantitative risk assessment evaluated using the IDEA Reference Chemical Potency List.
