Four more companies in China have signed the joint Sustainability Charter of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI), a further step in strengthening sustainability across the fragrance and flavor industry.

The new signatories are:

  • Tianjin Double Horse Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd.
  • Apple Flavor & Fragrance Group Co., Ltd.
  • Ningxia Wanxiangyuan Biological Technology Co., Ltd.
  • Zhejiang Green Crystal Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

The companies signed at the ESG Forum of the Annual Meeting and Expo of the China Association of Fragrance, Flavor and Cosmetic Industry (CAFFCI) in Nanjing, China, on 17 September 2026. IFRA President Alexander Mohr addressed the forum on the bioeconomy and sustainability, before joining Sven Ballschmiede, Executive Director of IOFI, to host the signing ceremony. Mr Mohr and Mr Ballschmiede welcomed the four companies to the Charter.

IFRA congratulates the new signatories and thanks CAFFCI for convening the industry to turn sustainability commitments into action.
