IFRA joi­ned scien­tists, per­fu­mers and industry experts at the Royal Ins­ti­tu­tion in Lon­don for the 15^th IFRA UK Fra­gran­ce Forum, which explo­red our sen­se of smell in an increa­singly digi­tal world. IFRA Pre­si­dent Ale­xan­der Mohr ope­ned the after­noon session.

Ale­xan­der Mohr, Pre­si­dent of IFRA, joi­ned the Next in Fra­gran­ce Con­fe­ren­ce at Beauty­world Dubai for a panel on regu­la­tions, ethics and the pla­net, along­si­de Ajmal Group and the Oud Gra­ding Institute.

Two scien­ti­fic experts from the Inter­na­tio­nal Fra­gran­ce Asso­cia­tion (IFRA) will pre­sent the 52^nd Amend­ment to the IFRA Stan­dards at Glo­bal Cos­me­tics Regu­la­tions 2026, a vir­tual con­fe­ren­ce orga­ni­zed by Che­mi­cal Watch on Tues­day, 24 Novem­ber 2026.

IFRA took part in the EFf­CI Annual Con­fe­ren­ce 2026 in Athens, with a pre­sen­ta­tion on regu­la­tion and inno­va­tion and a pla­ce on the con­fe­ren­ce’s ​‘Four Mus­ke­teers’ panel on glo­bal and regio­nal har­mo­ni­za­tion and dia­lo­gue bet­ween policy­ma­kers and industry.

More than 70 par­ti­ci­pants joi­ned a ses­sion on risk assess­ment and glo­bal fra­gran­ce regu­la­tion, co-hos­ted with Indo­ne­sia’s food and drug autho­rity and the natio­nal asso­cia­tion AFFI.

The new sig­na­to­ries joi­ned the Char­ter at the ESG Forum of the CAFF­CI Annual Mee­ting and Expo in Nan­jing, China.

Ale­xan­der Mohr addres­sed the high-level fra­gran­ce and fla­vor forum on the glo­bal trends resha­ping the industry and the gro­wing weight of the Asia Paci­fic market.

Senior repre­sen­ta­ti­ves from IFRA mem­ber com­pa­nies across Grea­ter Chi­na and North Asia met in Shanghai, Chi­na, on 16 Sep­tem­ber 2026 for a dis­cus­sion on glo­bal tra­de dyna­mics and the asso­cia­tio­n’s stra­te­gic priorities.

The August – Sep­tem­ber issue high­lights IFRA’s regio­nal enga­ge­ment through regu­la­tory dia­lo­gue, tech­ni­cal outreach and colla­bo­ra­tion with natio­nal associations.
