IFRA joins EFfCI Annual Conference 2026 in Athens

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) took part in the Annual Conference of the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI), held in Athens, Greece.

Aurélie Perrichet, Regional Director Europe at IFRA, gave a presentation on 'Regulation and Innovation: risks and opportunities from the perspective of the fragrance industry'.

Alexander Mohr, President of IFRA, joined the 'Four Musketeers' panel, one of the conference's most anticipated sessions. Mr Mohr discussed the global and regional harmonization challenges facing the sector and the importance of constructive dialogue between policymakers and industry, with Beta Montemayor of Cosmetics Alliance Canada, John Chave of Cosmetics Europe – The Personal Care Association, and Vera Rogiers of Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS). The session was moderated by Andrea Maltagliati, Secretary General of EFfCI.

The EFfCI Annual Conference is a fixed date in the IFRA calendar and an important forum for discussion with EU authorities and representatives of the cosmetics sector on the latest developments in Europe and globally.
