The Inter­na­tio­nal Fra­gran­ce Asso­cia­tion (IFRA) was hono­red to be invi­ted to the recent gathe­ring of the Cham­ber of Cos­me­tics Industry of the Phi­lip­pi­nes (CCIP), which brought together more than 200 par­ti­ci­pants from across the beauty and well­ness sector.

His quar­ter-cen­tury of ser­vi­ce reflects a deep com­mit­ment to scien­ce, safety, and dia­lo­gue — hel­ping build IFRA into the glo­bally res­pec­ted autho­rity it is today.

On August 27 and 28 Matthias Vey pro­vi­ded lec­tu­res to the stu­dents onli­ne on the topics of ​‘IFRA Stan­dards & the upco­ming 51^st Amend­ment’ as well as ​‘Mana­ge­ment of skin sen­si­ti­zers inclu­ding aller­gen labelling’.

On Thurs­day, August 19, IFRA wel­co­med mem­bers and part­ners to cele­bra­te the rede­sig­ned regio­nal offi­ce for Latin Ame­ri­ca, loca­ted in São Pau­lo, Brazil.

The wait is over — the near-final pro­gram for the IFRA Glo­bal Fra­gran­ce Sum­mit 2025 is now live.

Last week, IFRA took part in Ins­tant Lavan­de, a pro­fes­sio­nal event dedi­ca­ted to natu­ral ingre­dients and the futu­re of fra­gran­ce. Orga­ni­sed by the Mayor of Gras­se, Jérô­me Viaud, the day brought together industry lea­ders, policy­ma­kers, scien­tists and edu­ca­tors to address the increa­sing pres­su­res on the fra­gran­ce sec­tor — and the oppor­tu­ni­ties for resi­lien­ce through collaboration.

A full-day workshop on fra­gran­ce safety and risk assess­ment took pla­ce on 10 July in Seoul , co-hos­ted by the Euro­pean Cham­ber of Com­mer­ce in Korea (ECCK), KOTRA, the Research Ins­ti­tu­te for Fra­gran­ce Mate­rials (RIFM), and IFRA.
