Following its presentation at the CAFFCI Annual Meeting and Expo in Nanjing, China, the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) co-hosted a workshop on the IFRA Standards and risk management with the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, BPOM) in Indonesia today.
Senior representatives of BPOM took part, among themPriharika Septyowati, Director of Cosmetic Supervision, and Dr Mayagustina Andarini, Principal Expert Pharmaceutical and Food Control Officer.
More than 70 participants attended. Drawing on expertise shared by IFRA member companies, the session opened a wide-ranging discussion on risk assessment and the global regulatory framework governing fragrance.
IFRA thanks its national association partner, Asosiasi Flavor dan Fragran Indonesia (AFFI), for its collaboration on the workshop. Together, IFRA and its partners continue to advance safety, compliance, and scientific rigor across the industry.
