New Classification Intention for a Fragrance Ingredient

France has announced on the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Registry of Intentions its plan to submit a CLH dossier for terpineol (EC/List No. 7011883; no CAS number provided) by 31 December 2026:

France is proposing a classification as Toxic for Reproduction, although no specific category has been indicated at this stage.

This follows an earlier intention submitted in 2014 - under different identifiers - which was later withdrawn. In the current entry, only the EC number appears, along with a provisional chemical name referring to a reaction mass of several structural isomers.

Further information will be available once France submits the CLH dossier to ECHA.
