IFRA was represented by Aurélie Perrichet, Regional Director, Europe EMEA, who spoke on the panel alongside Lisa Bellone, in a conversation moderated by Aurélie Dematons. The discussion offered a valuable platform to highlight IFRA's role - together with the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) - in advancing ingredient safety, championing a risk-based approach to regulation, and addressing the evolving regulatory landscape facing the industry across Europe.
The session also benefited from the contributions of Philippe Massé (PRODAROM) and Thierry Wasser, President of the International Society of Perfumer Creators (ISPC), who shared perspectives on the changing environment for fragrance creation and the essential role of perfumers in shaping these conversations.
Hosted at the Palais Brongniart, a historic setting that reflects the deep cultural roots of perfumery, the panel brought together passionate professionals and engaged members of the public. The exchanges underscored the importance of ongoing dialogue between industry, science, and creative communities to support innovation, safeguard creativity, and uphold the scientific foundations of fragrance safety.
IFRA remains committed to representing the sector in such forums and to fostering constructive conversations that strengthen the future of fragrance in Europe and beyond.
