The Inter­na­tio­nal Fra­gran­ce Asso­cia­tion (IFRA) has published the End of Con­sul­ta­tion Let­ter for the 52^nd Amend­ment to the IFRA Stan­dards, follo­wing the clo­se of the con­sul­ta­tion period on 12 June 2026.

More than 90 par­ti­ci­pants, many of them from small and medium-sized enter­pri­ses, atten­ded the two-day workshop hos­ted by the Cham­ber of Cos­me­tic Industry of the Philippines.

The Euro­pean Com­mis­sion has con­fir­med it will not pur­sue a full legis­la­ti­ve overhaul of REACH (Regis­tra­tion, Eva­lua­tion, Autho­ri­sa­tion and Res­tric­tion of Che­mi­cals), a deci­sion IFRA wel­co­mes as pro­vi­ding much nee­ded cer­tainty for the fra­gran­ce industry.
