In just one week, fra­gran­ce lea­ders, scien­tists, and regu­la­tors from across the world will con­ve­ne in Sin­ga­po­re for the IFRA Glo­bal Fra­gran­ce Sum­mit 2025, taking pla­ce on 15 – 16 Octo­ber at the Fair­mont Singapore.

IFRA scien­ce experts sha­red the latest scien­ce on human health, envi­ron­ment, and safety assessment

This work, con­duc­ted under the aus­pi­ces of IDEA (The Inter­na­tio­nal Dia­lo­gue for the Eva­lua­tion of Aller­gens), pre­sents an expan­ded Refe­ren­ce Che­mi­cal Potency List (RCPL) with 77 addi­tio­nal che­mi­cals. The exten­ded RCPL strengthens the eva­lua­tion of New Approach Metho­do­lo­gies for asses­sing skin sen­si­ti­sing potency. Over the sum­mer, the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion laun­ched a public con­sul­ta­tion on the revi­sion of the EU Cos­me­tic Pro­ducts Regu­la­tion (CPR). The aim was to gather input from autho­ri­ties and sta­kehol­ders on whether the Regu­la­tion should be revi­sed in the coming years, loo­king at what has wor­ked well, whe­re impro­ve­ments may be nee­ded, and what areas should be prioritised.

The Inter­na­tio­nal Fra­gran­ce Asso­cia­tion (IFRA) was hono­red to be invi­ted to the recent gathe­ring of the Cham­ber of Cos­me­tics Industry of the Phi­lip­pi­nes (CCIP), which brought together more than 200 par­ti­ci­pants from across the beauty and well­ness sector.

On August 26, IFRA’s Asia North Senior Advi­sor Leon Huang, gave a pre­sen­ta­tion ​“Over­view of EU CMR Clas­si­fi­ca­tion of Fra­gran­ce Ingre­dients” at CAFFCI’s invitation.

On Thurs­day, August 19, IFRA wel­co­med mem­bers and part­ners to cele­bra­te the rede­sig­ned regio­nal offi­ce for Latin Ame­ri­ca, loca­ted in São Pau­lo, Brazil.
