The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) contributed to the exchange. Markus Wahl, BASF, presented on behalf of IFRA, Amaia Irizar, IFRA, attended in person, and Andreas Natsch, Givaudan, joined virtually.

The Forum brought together regulators, industry, academia and other stakeholders to examine how new approach methodologies (NAM) can support the assessment of endocrine disruption under EU regulatory frameworks, an area where reducing reliance on animal testing remains a shared priority.

The article, 'Use of New Approach Methodologies for the assessment of Endocrine Disruption within European Union regulatory frameworks: Report from the 2024 European Partnership for Alternative Approaches (EPAA) Partners' Forum' is available at https://doi.org/10.1016/j.namjnl.2026.100093.
