During the meeting, Mr Mohr presented an overview of IFRA's global structure, while Dr Li shared updates on IFRA Asia Pacific activities and collaboration with local industry associations across the region. Madam Tran Thi Phuong Mai also introduced the activities of ACA and the Vietnam Association of Essential Oils, Aroma and Cosmetics (VOCA).

As Vietnam continues to experience rapid economic development and is actively drafting regulations for the cosmetics and chemical industries, increasing attention has been placed on these sectors. The discussion also explored future collaboration opportunities, including potential workshops, webinars, and other joint initiatives.

The collaboration between IFRA and ACA/VOCA is important in strengthening advocacy efforts and regional cooperation within ASEAN, particularly in Vietnam, as the region continues to grow in importance for the fragrance and cosmetics industry.
