Publication of IFRA-IOFI GHS Labelling Manual

The IFRA-IOFI GHS Labelling Manual was officially published on 9 January 2025, representing an important step in providing industry-specific guidance for the application of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals to fragrance and flavour materials.

Developed jointly by IFRA and IOFI, the manual offers comprehensive and practical support for companies in implementing GHS labelling requirements consistently and in line with sector-specific needs. It reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to promote safety, clarity, and global harmonization in labelling practices, helping companies navigate the complexities of classification and communication of hazards.

The manual builds on long-standing collaboration between IFRA and IOFI, bringing together the scientific, technical, and regulatory expertise of both organizations to serve members and stakeholders worldwide.
