The preliminary SCCS Opinion on Tea Tree Oil has been published and open for comments until 18 August 2025: SCCS – Scientific Opinion on Tea Tree Oil (CAS/EC No. 68647−73−4 /285 – 377‑1) – European Commission. The next Commission Working Group on Cosmetics will discuss this derogation dossier at their meeting of 23 June 2025, notably the Analysis of Alternatives.
