The in-person seminar will bring together experts from across science, clinical practice, regulation and industry to explore the latest developments in skin sensitisation, with a particular focus on fragrance allergy and risk management.
Matthias Vey will deliver a dedicated session entitled Addressing fragrance skin sensitizers from a risk assessment and risk management perspective. His presentation will provide an overview of the tools and data used to prevent fragrance skin sensitisation, highlighting key outcomes from the IDEA project and the role of clinical data in effective risk management. The session will run from 13:15 to 14:00 as part of the afternoon programme.
The seminar programme covers the scientific foundations of Type IV skin sensitisation, clinical aspects of fragrance allergy, cosmetovigilance and the lived experience of sensitisation. It will conclude with a moderated panel discussion.
