IFRA and IOFI have published the 2025 edition of the IFRA-IOFI Labelling Manual, prepared by the joint GHS Task Force. The Manual was released on 15 January.

Geneva, 5 January 2026 – The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) announces with deep sadness the passing of its former President, Jean-Pierre Houri, who passed away on 1 January 2026 at the age of 81. IFRA extends its sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

Geneva, 12 December 2025 – The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) has opened the public consultation on the latest update to its safe use program, the IFRA Standards – the fragrance industry’s risk-based product stewardship system. The consultation, focused on the 52^nd Amendment to the IFRA Standards, is now underway and will remain open until 12 June 2026.

The truth is simple: fragrance safety is not left to chance. It is built into the rules, the testing, the assessments and the people whose job it is to make sure fragranced products are safe to use every day.
