Geneva, 22 July 2025 – The International Fragrance Association (IFRA), as the global voice of the fragrance industry, has reaffirmed its leadership in advancing sustainability with the publication of the third IFRA-IOFI Joint Sustainability Report, released today in partnership with the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI).

This Report, created jointly with IOFI, showcases the significant progress driven by IFRA and its members in embedding sustainability throughout the fragrance value chain — from responsible sourcing and climate action to workplace wellbeing, product safety, and transparent reporting.

Scent connections: Advancing standards and collaboration across cultures

The Biological Diversity Act, 2023, marks a major reform aimed at strengthening biodiversity governance in India. With a renewed focus on ease of compliance, conservation, and sustainable use, the Act has now been further simplified and operationalized through the Biodiversity Rules, 2024, making it easier for stakeholders to understand and adopt.
