Gene­va, 22 July 2025 – The Inter­na­tio­nal Fra­gran­ce Asso­cia­tion (IFRA), as the glo­bal voi­ce of the fra­gran­ce industry, has reaf­fir­med its lea­dership in advan­cing sus­tai­na­bi­lity with the publi­ca­tion of the third IFRA-IOFI Joint Sus­tai­na­bi­lity Report, relea­sed today in part­nership with the Inter­na­tio­nal Orga­ni­za­tion of the Fla­vor Industry (IOFI).

This Report, crea­ted jointly with IOFI, show­ca­ses the sig­ni­fi­cant pro­gress dri­ven by IFRA and its mem­bers in embed­ding sus­tai­na­bi­lity throughout the fra­gran­ce value chain — from res­pon­si­ble sour­cing and cli­ma­te action to work­pla­ce well­being, pro­duct safety, and trans­pa­rent reporting.

The Bio­lo­gi­cal Diver­sity Act, 2023, marks a major reform aimed at strengthe­ning bio­di­ver­sity gover­nan­ce in India. With a rene­wed focus on ease of com­plian­ce, con­ser­va­tion, and sus­tai­na­ble use, the Act has now been further sim­pli­fied and ope­ra­tio­na­li­zed through the Bio­di­ver­sity Rules, 2024, making it easier for sta­kehol­ders to unders­tand and adopt.
