3rd EC workshop on roadmap towards phasing out animal testing in chemical safety assessments (16-17 June, 2025) was held at ECHA premises in Helsinki. The Roadmap will be published in Q1 2026.

IFRA APAC contributes to RAIN Asia Working Group discussions on emerging chemical regulations

Representing IFRA, Dr. Caroline Li participated in a recent meeting of the RAIN Asia Working Group, a platform bringing together leading international chemical industry associations, including the American chemistry Council (ACC), chemical industry association of Canada, CEFIC, SCIC ( Singapore chemical industry Council), among others, to discuss regulatory developments across Asia.The meeting focused on recent developments in chemical regulations and the associated challenges facing the industry and global value chains. Particular attention was given to the implementation of new chemical regulations in Asia Pacific countries including Vietnam, which industry are actively working with local stake holders regarding clarity, practicality, and implementation details.
