A growing number of regions are engaging in open, science-based discussions on fragrance ingredients.

Last week, the IFRA team took part in the CTFAS Regulatory Forum earlier this week, joining regulators, industry leaders and technical specialists for a full day focused on the future of cosmetics, personal care and wellness regulation across Asia.

The program on day one focused on global standards, ingredient defense, regulatory alignment and a specific look at the Asia-Pacific context.

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) was honored to be invited to the recent gathering of the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines (CCIP), which brought together more than 200 participants from across the beauty and wellness sector.

Scent connections: Advancing standards and collaboration across cultures

A full-day workshop on fragrance safety and risk assessment took place on 10 July in Seoul , co-hosted by the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), KOTRA, the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM), and IFRA.

Thirty students from Hindu College’s perfumery program have started an eight-week internship across partner industry sites, gaining hands-on experience across the fragrance and perfumery value chain.
